Salt & Barrel
Labeled as a ‘Kebaberie’, this was a place where one could experience the love and joy of kebabs, a dish that has been cherished by many cultures and generations. It was a collaboration with local craft breweries, Black Kite and Kowloon Bay, who wanted to share their passion for beer and food with the community. The restaurant’s interior was inspired by the beauty and diversity of the Mughal Empire, with vibrant colors, cozy furnishings, stunning paintings, and moody lighting.
The menu was a feast for the senses, featuring kebabs that were a blend of authentic recipes from different regions and social classes. Each kebab was carefully prepared to create a delicious harmony of flavors.
The taproom offered fifteen taps of amazing craft beer, with a focus on fresh, locally made drinks that matched the dishes perfectly. But the ‘Kebaberie’ was more than just a restaurant; it was a haven where you could relax with your friends and family, enjoying wonderful food and drink in an atmosphere of warmth and friendship.
