This place was more than a dream, it was a heartfelt desire that I nurtured with every bit of strength. Every splash of color on the walls, every upcycled piece of furniture and every nuance in the kitchen design was a reflection of the passion and devotion I invested in it. Nestled in the cozy corner of Sai Ying Pun, it was our sanctuary from the city’s noise and chaos.

My amazing wife, my pillar of strength, joined me in this adventure. We created a chic and cozy business that offered not only warmth but also the homely feeling of belonging. Our food was a culinary adventure inspired by “black salt” or “kala namak”, a fiery Himalayan rock salt with a pungent sulphurous aroma and an incredible umami eggy flavor. It was our wish that each mouthful would bring a sense of wonder and happiness to our customers, much like the salt itself.

Our menu was a loving tribute to my roots, cherished family recipes, the elegance of European cuisine, and the lively flavors of the subcontinent. It was our mission to add a modern twist to traditional dishes while preserving their authentic essence.
